Electronic lockers for staff

Today, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines employees can safely store their personal belongings in one of the custom lockers that are distributed in the Topside office at Schiphol. The lockers are equipped with Olssen's Ubilock electronic locker system. This allows employees to use a locker using their staff pass. The wooden custom lockers have a unique print of KLM aircraft. Each locker wall is equipped with a central terminal (10 inch touchscreen) where employees can choose a locker and where administrators can log into the locker management system to view the locker usage.

The Ubilock locker system can be supplied for any company in different environments and situations as desired, with the possibilities and functions required for the relevant environment or situation.

To ensure that employees do not claim a locker (long-term use of the same locker), we have set in the software that the lockers open automatically after a certain period of time. This prevents users from leaving their belongings in the locker and they are therefore obliged to empty the locker after their service. Administrators can log into the locker management software in the cloud. Here, the persons who have this authority can view the use of lockers and certain rights can be granted to users, such as using the lockers for longer, blocking users and adding users.
