For the University Medical Center Groningen, Olssen has provided a digital solution for the management and issuance of electronic devices such as laptops, tablets and other hardware.

With this solution, hospital employees can borrow laptops, tablets or beamers 24/7 from Olssen's electronic dispenser. When picking up the desired laptop, tablet or beamer, the user must offer his UMCG access pass, after which the items can be taken from the locker.

The administrator of the electronic devices can remotely manage all devices using the supplied smart Locker Management Software.
Furthermore, each locker is equipped with a power connection so that everything can be charged equally.

Our smart lockers only open a locker after the user has rights and open the locker that has been charged the most. The user can operate the lockers with a large touch screen, the layout of which can be adjusted by the administrator. The terminal is also equipped with an RFID reader that can read the customer's access card.
